Tony Collins

Tony Collins has been a Christ follower since his late teen years and continues to pursue God’s leading through Jesus every day. He is a licensed minister with the Evangelical Covenant Church, and proudly serving under the non-profit "Urban Skye" based in Colorado.

Tony spent 15 years in Contra Costa County as a youth, family, and connections pastor.
He walked alongside middle and high school students and their families — both inside and outside the church.

In 2009, he felt called to step out of church employment to launch a relational, community-based care ministry focused on:

Snapshot of my ministry:

  • One-on-One Discipleship

  • Men’s Groups

  • Young Adults with Special Needs

  • Underserved Individuals in the Community

  • Justice Issues facing our Culture from a Biblical perspective

Tony is passionate about living life with people and encouraging them to:

  • Take one step closer to the Lord today

  • Build authentic Kingdom-focused relationships

  • Give of themselves and engage in commitment, community, and service.

His style is service-focused through highly relational, intentional, and welcoming, people where they are and walking with them in life and on their spiritual journey.

Tony is married to Kristi, and they live in Concord, CA.
They have three adult children: Keegan, Cooper, and Mia.
and the greatest (at times neurotic) dog ever, Maggie May

Tony Loves and Appreciates:

  • his family

  • authenticity and vulnerability

  • meeting and connecting with people, old friends and new

  • the Oakland A’s (yes, they’ll always be from Oakland)

  • a good buddy movie

  • ballads and harmonies that bring him back to a rich time

  • a good cup of black coffee

  • a pile of hash browns

Tony Collins Ministries (Koinonia Care Connection) desires to bring the love of Jesus to people,
by pursuing, connecting regularly with, and walking alongside individuals in Contra Costa County
