DOUG FEIL

I grew up in a Christian home in San Jose, CA. After I got a BA in psychology, I wanted to be a pastor, missionary or counselor.

I spent 5 years as a missionary in Costa Rica and Uruguay, including pastoring a church for 3 years. I met my wife Joyce in Uruguay, where she was serving as a missionary with Operation Mobilization. She grew up as an MK in Brazil, then after Bible College she served as missionary with several organizations. We have lived in Colorado since 1984 and have 3 adult daughters and 2 son-in-law’s. Joyce served for 25 years as the Global Outreach Director at our church, Foothills Bible Church, and I have been a full time therapist since 1982, including 32 years with Southwest Counseling Associates with 20 of those years serving as the Executive Director.
