CATHY ROMERO

Cathy has been a part of the God Behind Bars/Red Rocks Church ministry going into her 7th year.

Several years ago God placed a call on her heart to leave her corporate job, return to school and pursue prison chaplaincy.

Last year she graduated from Denver Seminary and took a full-time position with the Department of Corrections.

Cathy provides spiritual and emotional care to both men and women who are incarcerated regardless of background or faith affiliation, providing a safe place for healing and growth.

Her work also extends beyond the walls of prison to support individuals upon release as they integrate back into society. The call on her life is to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those impacted by incarceration.
