Souls Compass: Listening for God through Contemplative Reading
Souls Compass will be taking the summer off to retool. Instead of doing monthly evening lectio sessions, we will begin doing quarterly half- to full-day contemplative retreats. Watch for the first one this fall!
The Art of Lectio Divina has been a practice of christian communities for many centuries. Latin meaning "Divine Reading," it is a way to open the heart to listen for God through meditating on texts from the bible (especially the Psalms).
